Bộ điều khiển nhiệt độ cho máy biến áp loại khô là bộ điều khiển thông minh được thiết kế đặc biệt để vận hành an toàn máy biến áp loại khô. Bộ điều khiển nhiệt độ áp dụng công nghệ vi điều khiển và sử dụng nhiệt điện trở bạch kim được nhúng trong cuộn dây máy biến áp loại khô để phát hiện và hiển thị sự gia tăng nhiệt độ của cuộn dây máy biến áp. Nó có thể tự động khởi động và dừng quạt làm mát để buộc làm mát bằng không khí của cuộn dây, Tránh hoặc giảm lỗi do nhiệt độ cao trong máy biến áp. Nó cũng có thể kiểm soát đầu ra của cảnh báo quá nhiệt độ và chuyến đi quá nhiệt để đảm bảo rằng máy biến áp hoạt động ở trạng thái an toàn, do đó kéo dài tuổi thọ làm việc của máy biến áp.
