Since August 2024, high temperatures have persisted in various regions around the world, with customers frequently using high-power appliances such as air conditioners and fans. The continuous increase in power grid load poses a severe challenge to the safe and stable operation of the power grid. In order to accurately diagnose the operating status of transmission lines, major power companies measure the temperature of important transmission lines within their jurisdiction, carefully analyze the temperature data, and grasp the equipment operating status in a timely manner to ensure reliable operation of transmission lines during peak periods of electricity demand.
Based on the experience of previous line inspections, the power company has developed a targeted plan and arranged three special operation and maintenance personnel to monitor the fluorescent fiber optic temperature measurement device, inspect the fiber optic temperature measurement products and instruments.
