FJINNO company has developed a temperature measurement scheme using fluorescent optical fiber technology, based on the temperature measurement characteristics of substation equipment. Temperature measurement is an important means of fault detection and maintenance in power systems. In current hot spot temperature measurement in power systems, traditional electrical signal temperature sensors are mainly used. These sensors are not suitable for situations where the power system voltage is high, insulation requirements are high, and electromagnetic interference is strong. They cannot directly measure the hot spot temperature inside electrical equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to find a method that can be applied to hot spot temperature measurement of power systems and electrical equipment.
Fluorescent fiber optic temperature measurement technology can solve the problem of hot spot temperature measurement in power equipment. It has the characteristics of high voltage resistance, high insulation, and resistance to electromagnetic interference, and is the future development direction of hot spot temperature measurement technology for electrical equipment in power systems. Fiber optic temperature measurement technology mainly includes two types: distributed fiber optic temperature measurement technology and infrared temperature measurement technology. Among them, infrared temperature measurement technology can only measure the surface temperature of electrical equipment and cannot measure the hot spot temperature inside electrical equipment. The installation method of fluorescent fiber optic temperature measurement technology is the same as that of conventional electrical signal temperature sensors, and can be directly embedded in electrical equipment, so it has strong convenience in use.
The fluorescence fiber optic temperature measurement device system is divided into two parts: the bottom temperature measurement unit and the upper computer system. The bottom temperature measurement unit consists of multiple fiber optic temperature measurement devices such as transformers, high-voltage switchgear, high-voltage busbars, cable heads, etc. The upper computer system consists of a main control room, on-site monitoring devices, etc. The fiber optic temperature measurement device adopts RS485 interface communication method, which is converted into fiber optic communication signals through photoelectric converters, and realizes remote communication with the upper computer system composed of remote main control room, on-site monitoring devices, etc., to improve the reliability and anti-interference ability of the communication system.
A complete temperature measurement scheme was designed based on fluorescence fiber optic temperature measurement technology and combined with substation equipment. After experimental verification, the temperature measurement range of the temperature measurement system reaches -40 ℃ to 200 ℃, with an accuracy of 1 ℃, which meets practical requirements. The temperature measuring device has the characteristics of low cost, stable performance, strong practicality, fast and stable response, and simple operation.
