Fiber optic laying method for bus duct
1. Temperature measuring optical fibers are not only carriers of signals, but also temperature sensors. The quality of installation directly affects the accuracy of measurement, so special attention should be paid to the installation process during construction.
The construction of temperature sensing optical fibers on bus ducts mainly relies on direct laying. When more precise temperature measurement points are needed, winding laying can be carried out (such as bus node positions)
The temperature sensing fiber adopts the fixed method of surface mounted fiber. The laying of temperature sensing optical fibers is fixed with fiber optic fasteners (insulated zip ties) to tightly bond the temperature sensing optical fibers with the outer surface of the bus duct.

2) The red color represents the bus duct
Fiber optic is a quartz product, and when it needs to be bent and laid, it can only be achieved with a circular arc with a diameter greater than 3 سم, otherwise it will cause fiber optic loss and affect measurement accuracy. At the same time, in the processing of fiber optic connectors, it is necessary to maintain the cleanliness of the fiber fusion surface to ensure measurement accuracy.
2. Fiber optic laying method for busbar joints
Binding of busbar joints:
(1) Adopting the double loop folding laying method, the cable is laid back and forth three times along the longitudinal direction of the busbar joint, with each round trip at a different side position, and the surface distance between the optical cables is not less than 10 centimeters;
(2) Use nylon zip ties to tie the temperature sensing optical fiber to the busbar joint, with a binding spacing of no more than 50 centimeters. The fiber should be tied at both the beginning and end of the cable loop, ensuring that the temperature sensing optical fiber has a large bending radius during binding;
(3) When installing the temperature sensing fiber at the busbar joint, a double loop winding method is used to fix it at the busbar joint, ensuring that the temperature sensing fiber is in close contact with the busbar terminal or busbar joint. The unfolded length of the dual ring optical cable shall not be less than 5 امتار (determined according to the actual size of the busbar joint).
3. Setting of temperature sensing fiber margin
Temperature sensing fiber margin, also known as fiber ring, is mainly used as a measure for positioning fiber optic temperature measurement systems, measuring ambient temperature, and preventing fiber optic damage during the installation of temperature sensing fibers. The setting scenario is as follows:
(1) It is recommended to install a fiber optic cable allowance section every 500 meters for temperature sensing optical fibers;
(2) A fiber optic cable allowance section should be installed when the temperature sensing fiber passes through different areas (such as bus joints);
(3) When measuring the ambient temperature, it can be achieved by setting the fiber optic cable allowance section;
(4) At the end of the temperature sensing fiber optic cable, a cable allowance section should be set up to achieve terminal explicit positioning, and waterproof treatment should be carried out at the end;
(5) At the beginning of the temperature sensing fiber optic cable, a cable allowance section should be set up to achieve explicit positioning at the beginning;
Setting points:
(1) The length of the remaining section is 10-15 امتار;
(2) Use 3-4 nylon zip ties to tie the remaining section into a circular shape;
(3) Securely fix and ensure that the optical cable at the entrance and exit of the ring has a large bending radius;
5.3.4 Fusion splicing of optical cables
Fiber optic cable fusion operations are required in the following three scenarios:
(1) Splicing between different fiber optic cable reels;
(2) At the breakpoint of the optical cable;
(3) At the point of significant fiber optic cable loss;
Welding steps:
(1) Peel off the temperature sensing fiber with a length of about 50cm;
(2) Peel off a portion of the fixed temperature sensing fiber into the splice box;
(3) Clean the temperature measuring optical fiber;
(4) Wear heat shrink tubing to complete fiber splitting and matching for multi fiber optical cables;
(5) Produce fiber optic end faces and fuse them together;
(6) Fiber optic fixation inside the tray;
(7) Seal the fiber optic cable joint box and securely fix it at a high position;
5. Fixing of optical cable splice box
Fixed points:
(1) The fiber optic cable joint box should be fixed with screws;
(2) The temperature sensing fiber should have a large bending radius at the inlet and outlet of the junction box;
(3) For damp laying environments, the fiber optic cable joint box should be sealed;
(4) The joint box should be fixed in a place that is not easily accessible to workers;
