During the operation of high-voltage switchgear, heat is generated on the components, so temperature measurement of the switchgear is necessary. At this time, temperature sensors are needed, and the most suitable one is fluorescent fiber optic temperature measurement, which is resistant to high voltage and interference.

Infrared sensors and wireless sensors are not suitable for temperature measurement in high-voltage switchgear

(1) Infrared temperature sensor temperature measurement method

The infrared temperature measurement method is a very representative method in direct contact measurement. The infrared temperature measurement method is mainly based on the black radiation principle of Stefan Boltzmann, Planck, and others. Blackbodies are idealized radiators that can emit the same electromagnetic spectrum at the same temperature, regardless of their specific composition and shape characteristics. The temperature on the surface of an object is closely related to the size and wavelength distribution of the infrared radiation energy of the object itself. By measuring the infrared radiation energy of the object itself, the surface temperature can be determined. The basic components of the current infrared thermometer include an optical system, infrared detector, signal amplifier, signal processing, and display output. The core element is the infrared detector, which can convert the incident infrared radiation into other forms of electrical signals that can be measured. After being calculated and corrected by the amplifier and signal processor circuit according to the internal algorithm of the instrument, it is converted into the temperature value of the measured target, which is then displayed on the optical system.

(2) Wireless temperature sensor temperature measurement method

Wireless temperature measurement method is an improvement on the contact temperature measurement method, which is a new type of temperature measurement method developed to isolate the high and low voltage between the temperature measurement equipment and the power system. A typical wireless temperature measurement system consists of distributed temperature measurement points, data receivers, and backend processing systems. Distributed temperature measurement points are directly installed at the location where temperature measurement is required, and data receivers are placed at a certain distance from the switchgear. The transmission of data between distributed temperature measurement points and data receivers is achieved through wireless communication, thereby achieving high voltage isolation and temperature data collection. This solves the problem of the contact operating temperature inside the high-voltage switchgear not being easily monitored by infrared temperature measurement. Although wireless temperature measurement method solves the safety issues of temperature measurement devices, many problems have also been found in practical applications, among which the most core problem is the stability of the temperature measurement device at the switch contact position. In practical applications, the power supply used in this module is a current induction power supply that obtains energy from the power line, and the size of the power line load determines the amount of energy obtained by the power supply, with a large amplitude change. Se poutèt sa, the module often experiences insufficient power supply. In response to this issue, some people suggest using methods such as batteries and reducing the power consumption of temperature measurement devices. Sepandan, the drawback is that the batteries need to be replaced regularly after consumption, and electromagnetic interference may occur due to the low wireless power generation, resulting in errors in temperature measurement data transmission. Replacing the device battery requires the high-voltage switchgear to stop power supply, which cannot meet the continuous operation requirements of the high-voltage switchgear.
